Important Transition News

VA Premier- Closeout: Effective 09/30/2019: Public Partnerships will no longer be contracted with Virginia Premier to provide fiscal/employer agent services on your behalf. A new vendor, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will provide these services starting in October. The last timesheet payroll dates processed by PPL must be submitted and approved by 5 pm EST on 9/26/2019. Any timesheets submitted and approved after these dates will not be paid by PPL and must be submitted to the new vendor, CDCN. Please submit timesheets for previous payroll periods to PPL as soon as possible to avoid payment delays. The final payment from PPL will be on 9/30/19.

EOR Changes: PPL will not process any EOR changes or attendant hiring packets after 9/20/19. If you need to change your EOR or hire a new attendant after this date, please contact the new vendor at 1-888-444-8182 or by email at InfoCDVA@ConsumerDirectCare.com.

EVV: Virginia Premier consumers and attendants do not need to download the Time4Care app as they will be transitioned to CDCN by 10/1/19.

Tax-related questions: All W2 and 1099 documents will be mailed by January 31, 2020, per Federal Guidelines. Please allow time to receive your W2 or 1099 document in the mail. Ensure any recent changes to your demographic information, including address, phone number, and email address are updated with Public Partnerships as soon as possible to avoid delays on any communications, final payments, and/or tax-related documents.

Virginia's Consumer-Directed Fiscal/Employer Agent Services support people who are eligible for Medicaid through Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and choose to direct their own services. Attendants provide personal care services for participants in these programs:

  • Commonwealth Coordinated Care Plus Waiver (Formally known as EDCD/Tech Waiver)
  • Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT)

Participants can:

  • Manage authorized service hours to meet assessed needs and goals
  • Recruit, hire, manage, and dismiss employees
  • Monitor the utilization of services online whenever they want
  • Submit and monitor timesheets online using the BetterOnline™ web portal
